About Rotaract
Partners in service and integral members of the Rotary family.
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women aged 18 and above. These clubs, either community-based or university-based, are sponsored by local Rotary clubs, making them true "partners in service" and integral members of the Rotary family.
As one of Rotary's most dynamic and rapidly expanding service programs, with over 7,000 clubs in 163 countries, Rotaract has evolved into a global movement.
The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East, chartered on the 17th of September 2007, stands out as one of the most active clubs in the city, recognized with numerous awards for its contributions. Our members comprise a diverse mix of students and young working professionals aged between 18 and 26, pursuing degrees in fields such as Commerce, Engineering, and more, with some already making strides in their careers.
Since its inception, the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East has been committed to undertaking impactful community service projects, striving to touch lives and make a difference in innovative ways. Our efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, where we address our communities' physical and social needs while fostering international understanding and peace through a foundation of friendship and service. Rotaract embodies the spirit of "Rotary in action," and true to this, we have organized a variety of creative community service initiatives that not only benefit the community but also ensure that our members find joy in their service.
Mission
To empower young individuals by raising awareness of the Rotaract movement, guiding them on a path of fellowship and support. Through meaningful community service, we aim to inspire a sense of purpose and drive positive change within our society.
